Art 2: Community

Second grade explores RELATIONSHIPS in art throughout the year.  The students use color to express feelings, show space, and represent light and shadows in their work.  They learn strategies to show relationships between people in their work.  And, they build working relationships with their peers through collaboration and peer critiques.
