Having read about Howard Carter's discovery of Tutankhamen's tomb in November, 1922, the girls found photos on Creative Commons of some of the 3,000 objects buried with him. They used the app popplet to show the results of their "dig." This activity illustrates how the 1:1 iPad program can make information immediately accessible to a class and encourage the girls to acquire more specific knowledge about a subject.
